PROMOTIONAL SPECIALIST QTCO EXPANDS ITS DIGITAL HORIZONS WITH TWO KORNIT AVALANCHE PRINTERS
FROM KIWO AUSTRALIA
DARREN AND SAMANTHA FRASER OF QTCO LOOKED TO KIWO AUSTRALIA FOR A DIGITAL PRINTING SOLUTION
BACKED WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE AND SUPPORT
Leading promotional merchandise specialist QTCo of Eagle Farm, Queensland recently commissioned two Kornit Avalanche printers from Kiwo Australia.
With a total of three Kornit printers servicing its clients, the company has become one of the largest digital garment printers in the region.
QTCo is owned by Darren and Samantha Fraser and has been operating for over 25 years originally starting out providing blank T-shirts to retailers and expanding into branded merchandise.
This required the addition of in-house screen printing facilities which have been operating for the last fifteen years.
However Darren points out, “QTCo needed a digital printing solution to cater to the demand for shorter runs, quicker turnaround times and more personalization of printed garments for its growing online print business and so added a Kornit Storm II in 2014.
In March 2016 we purchased two Kornit Avalanche machines to help meet the need of our growing print fulfilment business. Says Darren, “After much debate and research, we felt that the Kornit machines for volume, production and speed were our best option.
“One of the first questions we had for Kiwo, was how much support could they offer us,particularly if we continued to expand.
Kiwo felt that their structure would handle the support needs for our growing company and thankfully, this has definitely been the case.
We certainly had a busy week with two machines arriving at the same time!
However the support we had from Kiwo’s sales manager, Tomas Lorenc and service engineer Chris O’Brien was outstanding with Chris’ knowledge and experience of Kornit machines particularly beneficial.”
QTCo now has two divisions, a print fulfilment which has expanded to include printing for other online retailers as well as maintaining the original part of the business, which is the supply of promotional apparel and merchandise to primarily corporate businesses throughout Australia.
Darren explains, ”QTCo’s aim is to continue to increase its Kornit printer range whilst expanding the print fulfilment business to offer the total print fulfilment package,
from inventory supply, to printing, packing and shipping.
